Raiders Will Hold Audition Days in New Jersey and Pennsylvania

To kick off the 30th anniversary season for the Raiders Drum and Bugle Corps, we are excited to announce multiple audition locations. In November, the Raiders will bring a drum corps experience to Pennsylvania as well as New Jersey.

These audition days allow everyone to get acquainted with the Raiders program, staff, and experience. It’s the perfect opportunity for performers new to drum corps to get their first introduction to drum corps as well as for seasoned performers to have a fun experience performing with an ensemble.

For performers interested in what it’s like to be a member of the Raiders for an entire season, the audition process is the first step. This isn’t like auditions for your state’s honors band or other ensembles; this is a fun, low-pressure experience where our educational staff will work with you to bring out your best.

These are this year’s audition dates and locations:

  • Sunday, November 10, Danville High School, 600 Walnut Street, Danville, Pennsylvania
  • Satuday, November 16, Sayreville High School, 820 Washington Road, Parlin, New Jersey

For anyone traveling from a distance, we also offer auditions by video. If you live over 250 miles from both locations, submit a video audition to receive feedback from our instructors and an invitation to future camps.

These auditions will lead up to our first national Open House Weekend and Callback Camp of the season in December. For the 2020 season, the Raiders will be offering positions in brass, percussion, color guard, and drum major (conductor).

In-person auditions are free if you register in advance. You can register here.
