The Raiders Drum Corps will offer a unique program for Summer 2021. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, the Raiders will offer a hybrid program providing in-person group rehearsals along with virtual private instruction. This combination of four in-person rehearsals and four virtual rehearsal sessions and private instruction will maximize the performance and learning experience while keeping everyone as safe and healthy as possible.
Learn from DCI instructors to play, spin, and march – all in a fun environment!
- Current drum corps members will enjoy an in-person summer experience
- Experienced participants can prepare themselves for 2022 drum corps auditions
- Marching band students refresh rusty skills to prepare for the fall season
- Beginners will learn the basics of drum corps style playing and marching
Brass – Battery Percussion – Front Ensemble – Color Guard – Conductor
- Open to ages 13-22
- Equipment will be provided during the in-person rehearsal or you can bring your own
- Equipment will be available for rent if you want to take one home for the summer
- Master class with specialists in each field
- Visual instruction (marching basics and light dance training) will be provided
Schedule
- In person rehearsals are on Sundays from 9am-5pm
- June 27, July 11, July 25, Aug 8 (Family and Friends performance)
- Virtual private instruction will be scheduled individually during the 2 weeks in-between rehearsals
