Hello and thank you for your interest in X-Stream Percussion.
We are extremely excited to start our inaugural session of X-Stream Percussion. This promises to be a unique , new performance venue. Our goals are to keep these sessions short, innovative, interactive, and fun. Our computer design team has created a program that will revolutionize virtual rehearsals.
Our tentative rehearsal structure will be follow the following four week format:
On Sunday afternoons or evenings members will receive 60 -90 minutes of group instruction/sectionals with the percussion instruction team.
On Friday members will submit videos showing their implementation and improvement of the concepts taught in the group session, and will then get individual feedback from an instructor.
Audition Requirements
The snare and tenor excerpts are attached. Each are to be performed at 156bpm. Make sure we can see your whole upper body in the video. A metronome must be used in the recording that is audible to the viewer. Use an instrument for the audition, not a drum pad.
Snares should play up to measure 92. Tenors play the whole excerpt.

- Record using your phone or a webcam.
- Review your video and re-record if you like.
- Upload the video to YouTube, and select "Unlisted" when publishing the video.
- Save the URL (link) of your video and come back to this page to submit your audition.
